Each year, the CYME Users Group Meeting offers a one-day pre-conference engineering course on topics related to the industry. This year, we are proud to present a course entitled “IEEE Standard for Interconnection and Interoperability of Distributed Energy Resources with Associated Electric Power Systems Interfaces”. It will be presented by Dr. Babak Enayati, PhD in Electrical Engineering, an expert in this field. The course will highlight:

  • Benefits and challenges related to renewable energy resources interconnections
  • Major changes to the IEEE 1547 standard on topics
  • Utility concerns and solutions to adopt the revised IEEE 1547 standard
